A Quiet Revolt
I want you to wake up.
Not gently. Not politely. Not the way they train you to wake up with a fact check slapped over your eyes like a blindfold. I want you to be fully conscious of the room you are standing in. I want you to be aware of the machinery humming behind the curtain. You are already inside it. You have been inside it your whole life.
I want you radicalized in the only way that matters.
Radically skeptical.
Radically observant.
Radically unwilling to swallow the pre-chewed version of the world they keep serving to you.
Look carefully at every fake headline, every spectacle presented to you with such choreographed certainty. Listen for the faint tremor in the voice, the hurried correction, the convenient narrative that appears precisely when the moment demands. Observe the background. They depend on your inattention. They count on your trust. They survive on your willingness to accept what is offered without question.
Understand this.
Nothing is accidental.
Nothing is coincidental.
Nothing is arranged for your benefit.
You are not an extra. You are not a spectator. You are already a participant in a story that someone else keeps writing for you. And the moment you realize that, the moment you stop letting them script your reactions, something shifts. You take back the pen.
I want you to question everything.
You are not paranoid.
You are paying attention.
I want you to feel that spark of anger that comes when you finally see the gears grind. The sense of betrayal when you realize how many layers of illusion have been wrapped around you. Let it burn for a moment. Let it clear the fog. Then let it focus you.
I want you to become dangerous to the people who depend on your obedience.
Not violent.
Not chaotic.
Dangerous because you can see.
Dangerous because you can think.
Dangerous because you refuse to be hypnotized again.
Wake up.
Look closer.
Listen to that part of you that knows the truth.
This is the moment you decide you are done being managed. This is where you stop letting them choreograph your fear and your hope and your grief. This is where you start owning your mind, your voice, your presence in this world.
The future is not written yet. They are trying to write it for you, frame by frame, crisis by crisis. But they cannot finish it without your consent. They cannot complete the script if you refuse your role as the obedient audience.
Remember this. Carry it with you when the next round of nonsense comes. When the lights flare, when the sirens scream, when the commentators tell you exactly what to feel, remember that you have another choice.
It is up to you to see.
It is up to you to question.
It is up to you to resist.
and you do, I’ll be here.
